Game/topic: General advertising of website in whole.

What I want: access to the World of Warcraft section.

Body: Whilst looking over you general homepage for catching the eye of people wishing to join your website for world of Warcraft I couldn’t help but be impressed about the way you pull people into the web site. You have your site very neatly laid out and furthermore you categorized the cheats very well. It was at this time I had an idea to improve not the amount of info your database has but an idea that will hopefully help to attract many more customers then you currently have to your web site through new means of advertising. This method…………well I call it sampling. So here it is. You could just simply make one very minor cheat available for free to people looking to join your site. Nothing major that will greatly improve their gaming experience, but something that says your serious about what you have in your data base…..something that will make them say WOW these guys have got it all. Say something like fishing pole damage. So after using that one sample cheat they are so into you that the chances they will actually purchase a membership is better. Besides even if the number of members resulting from my plan isn’t great the publicity for your web site will be. You will be the only website on the net that offers a free cheat. So thanks for your time

look in the nerf section of WoW or EQ and you can see things that have been nerfed that . redguides users have found or used in the past. that sould show what we look for.

Yes i understand that you display already nerfed options but you should feed the cheat hungry public something they can use, but nothing to important(u know just good enough that they will want to join the site on a paying plan)

I can see what you mean about letting people see what's behind the members' door but to be honest all the nerfed stuff is viewable so people can use those as an example of the type of thing's currently posted in the members sections.

Not for me to decide but I can smell a "not accepted!" coming...

nothing here that deserves free access, but really haven't seen a reason to close either...but if it gets out of hand I will have no problem closing this thread...

(btw...redguides gets plenty of new members everyday just by doing it the way we do it now)

No, it kind of convinces them to beg for more teasers, which in turn causes them to post on the General Forum requesting "Free Help" with making their character "ubar l33t," which in turn causes Happy Panda to go on a killing spree with chainsaws. So, if Redbot were both smart and valued his life, he would leave things the way they were.
