Dr. Pepper, according to a recent MLG announcement.

Dr. Pepper doesn't come into my mind when I think about energy drinks, but then again, I never used to think of gaming as an actual sport, either.

Okay, it all makes sense now.

Dr. Pepper has one of the highest caffeine levels of any major soft drink. Major soft drink meaning owned by a company that would be willing to pay millions to get their name attached to video games and outbid all of their competition. (while owned by Schweppes, PepsiCo distributes Dr Pepper in most areas in the US). My best guess is that products like Red Bull, Bawlz, and Rockstar were either too limited in availability, or that the asking price for the ad space was too high for them.

You know I was apparently the ONLY freak in Australia that actually liked the taste of Dr. Pepper. Everybody I knew here in Oz, absolutely HATED the taste, except me.

Getting married, buying a house etc has kinda put my gaming on hiatus for a few years, and I used to do alot of tournaments and etc and..... wtf it seems all the serious play is consoles anymore? :\

I dunno, I just cant see trading a mouse for a gamepad for a shooter...

I like console gaming as well as PC gaming, but the community is a lot different. On the console, I tend to play mostly FPSs such as CoD4 and Rainbow Six: Vegas.

Anyway, I never really thought about the caffeine content of Dr. Pepper. I guess that makes sense.

When I think of Gamer Drink's, Mt. Dew: Code Red always comes to my mind.

um, i just drink beer. i like when i've had too much, and i suddenly realize it, and then i spend more of the raid trying to focus on not slurring my words than actually paying attention to what i'm saying.

i think if i had some of those vent sessions saved, and could play them back to myself sober, it would be a good way to decide once and for all to stop drinking.

then again, that tends to be the best way for me to overcome /gquit anxiety. i just tell everyone off, gquit, and log in the next day to find myself unguilded.
