Handed my Epic 1.0 piece into an NPC once back when the quest wasn't solved yet and was told "ZE LOGS, ZEY SHOW NOTHINGZ".

I ones got a free epic 1.0.. Reason; I tried to tell a GM I lost a piece for the epic, but due to my bad english he misunderstood me and prolly didn't want to waste more time talking to me so he just gave my rogue his epic 1.0...

Later I found out that the GM was a RL friend of my guildleader so it that could also be the reason.

your bad english remind me of LOTRO:

I got my account banned in LOTRO for calling a GM illiterate. I was bug reporting some broken quest and the guy came and asked something like "do you want these fries with ketchup or mayonnaise". I asked if he was in trouble understanding basic english. Then I just ignored him and sent a ticket to head GM telling they really shouldnt hire illiterate people to handle with in-game support/bugs.
