Im thinking about buying an account from someone, but im not to sure how the process work or if after they give it to me with secret question if they can take it back? what all do I need to do to make it impossible for them to take the account back?

if they have set a secret password AND paid for access or station cash with a credit card then you will need to use 2 separate credit cards to make 2 separate transactions, then ask for a secret password reset, dont skip step 1

you might be able to set up the account to match one of your own (name, CC, email, etc. the FAQ on transfers should outline the requirements) and then pay the $25 to transfer the character to an account you created.
The original owner may be able to recover the account but the toon would be protected.
You might lose out on veteran rewards or some other things...
