This was just a thought, but has could the server possibly be requesting a checksum from the client as a means of detecting client modification. If this is the case, then that would explain why people accross the entire spectrum of MQ users have been getting banned and not just the shared bank users.

No, we use something called "detours" to prevent that from happening in most cases.
