I've known a couple of nice guilds that have been too trusting with their bank levels, and have been taken advantage of by people who just soley go around guild hopping and cleaning out guild banks.

One of the really nice features that EQ2 has, is the ability to set the levels of access on the guild bank. (Actually, I think EQ2 has one of the nicest guild control panels that I've seen in any MMORPG. Soley my opinion, though)

Think of it as a strategy on not getting screwed over. :)

hehe, Im a leader in my guild. and we have a successful bank system as follows:

Guild Bank 1: ACCESS ONLY TO LEADERS: If someone needs something from there, they will need to ask a leader with consent from whomever deposited it.

Guild Bank 2: Trainees(at least active for 2 weeks): Used for crafting materials harvested and spare parts to collection quests.

Guild Bank 3: Trainees: Spammed Combines such as totems, bags, weapons, arrows

Guild Bank 4: Open to all members: Free Space, anything goes, Only bank for toon --> toon transfers

Also, it helps to keep time restricitions on withdrawal, so that no guild hoppers can just clear you guys out... We are trying to figure out a way to use toon lvl restrictions, with no luck..

Nice system Boon. I've brought this up to my Guild Leaders for discussion.
Thanks.
