IRL - Denisory and Devilled invisible mobs (1 Viewer)

Using Mq2 on 1 toon in the group. She is the only one that can see an invisible mob in the zone and on the map. Denisory was in the HA on Thullisar Island and the other was in the HA in Combine Dredge named Devilled. Could those invisible mobs be GMs?

Lot to unpack here. So your using MQ (no 2 anymore) on a live server?
You saw people you didnt expect on the map?
Sounds like was players using SOS, that non MQ char cannot see still.

Cant say it WASNT GM's, but sounds like a conflict on how EQ and MQ are different on the map.

I have the Very Vanilla pack navigation and what I call "Harry Potter Maps". I should have stated, I am on Mischief and we are currently on The Darkened Sea expac.

I am true boxing 3 toons, (monk, cleric, enchanter). The only toon using RG is the monk. I'm working on collections atm. The other 2 toons don't have RG loaded at all. I can only see the 'invisible mob' on the monk who is running RG. I can't target but I see it on my maps and on screen. It has happened in 2 separate instances from 2 different zones.

You see all kinds of extra junk (edit: by this, i mean spawns that developers use to carry out various "things") in missions/HAs with MQ. I am not familiar with these two, but it is not necessarily anything to be concerned with. You can always check a different instance.

Ok thanks for the update, but still sounds like the same issue, MQ helps sub programs (ton of different ones), it will show you what EQ wont in that era or ever (SOS NPC's, SOS PC's, traps). Again not the GM patrol manager, but sounds like expected behavior.

EQ uses invisible mobs to facilitate many mechanics. You said you were in an HA and these instances usually have scripted triggers which are usually done using invisible mobs that will show up on the map when using MQ2Map plugin.

always have that person on PC raids "stand on event trigger 3".. non MQ is like hmmm?

THANK YOU ALL....makes me feel so much better. I got suspended for a week because of 3rd party blah blah blah...and I got scared when I saw something I wasn't used to seeing. I truly appreciate your inputs. I just didn't want to get banned and lose my beloved monk
