Just reacquainting myself with the old team!
It's been a while and I'm back in EQ1 after getting severely bored in EQ2.
Got myself:
82 Mage - levelled myself
82 Bard - pl'd using reverse pincushion on j5 healer merc
Two gold accounts and one free account.
I like the bard as he's easy to position and I mainly use him for songs. Was bored with the Mage until I saw the tanking capacity of earth pet with all defensive aas - my Mage was concentrating on eps so is pretty lacklustre. Still she only has 380aas so plenty of room to manoeuvre.
Two things then. What do I level up on the free account and why? Ultimately, I'm not using any extra software at this time and alt-tabbing between windows. When it gets to the stage where I can send in earth pet and then, alt-tab and check songs on bard then alt-tab again to (insert class here), before going back to Mage to nuke...
Lastly, been getting the odd exp from a guy that boxes a whole group using isboxer. Even though it states that it's totally fine with songs eula, I know he's afk for 25 minutes a time before coming back and looting and also leaves it on over night (where I steps and loot as he's letting it all rot).
Anyone have any experience with this program? It's a subscription model (Inner Space).
He boxes in Erudins Burning. Zone in, invis and levi then move to the right to the first building.
He parks his earth pet to the back of the building where approx 8 - 9 mobs spawn on 6 minute timers. He has a ranger, Mage, beast lord, bard or sk (one or other, never both) and then usually someone he is pl'ing. Add a healer merc and that's it. It's pretty much consistent kills with mayb a two minute interval after mobs are all down.
