Problem - Legacy client update fails repetedly - what could be wrong? (1 Viewer)

Im running eqemu client.

"Error trying to save file: Error downloading "https://www.redguides.com/update/emu/wyserver.wys": The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send."

I was able to download the file by pasting the URL in my browser but when i run update client it fails.

that's from the "redguides updater" i wrote in 2014 or something, no idea people still used it

this hasn't been the RG launcher in a number of years.

you can use the current RG launcher if you wish or use the link that @Redbot shared with you.

but there is no support for that wyUpdate launcher from yesteryear

I installed redfetch and it works
