now why does that message on mq2's website give me a shiver down my spine this gonna be another nasty patch since their gearing up for the new expansions launch?

no, that file is changed to that every time sony patches. please note the date modified, Last updated: May 11 2005 23:54:38 (MQ2-Down). and inside the zipfile you get 16DEC2004
