Is there a macro or something that you can see what a mob has on it, before you attack it?

out side of opening a browse i dont think it can be done. i could be wrong

If you mean checking what various items a mob drops and rarity or something like that then ya it would have to be a plugin that does an Allakhazam search in a browser. However if you mean checking exactly what drops a mob currently has, then no that is sent server side once the mob is dead I believe.

You can check www.wowhead.com what mob may drop, but there is no way to know what he will drop for sure.

I believe he means what is actually on the mob in the game, not what the mob can or might have, but what it actually has on that spawn.
