i think there was a patch in everquest today, how do i update the mq2 folder so i can just keep playing, or do i have to wait? is there a link somewhere or does the mq2 file autoupdate when available? any help would be much appreciated

The homepage will tell you on the right hand side when its down or up. You have to just wait it out (Donate to buy eqmule more doritos and mtn dew so he can burn through the night)

Probably wont see it back alive until late tonight or tomorrow morning depending on how many donate to eqmule for his amazing work and time he puts forth for us. This patch changed a lot of crap.

1st you'll have to wit till the EQ patch is done so the devs can start working on the MQ patch to go with the EQ patch...and that can take some time.
When ts done you can update MQ2 via the redguides updater...

Note: this patch is rather large. eqmule did get a patch for when these changes went to test, but test had some hardware failure so the changes didn't get to be fully tested

So this MQ2 patch could take longer than usual and I'm still expecting patches for a while to fix everything (in MQ2 land and the actual client/server)

Yea, I'm not exactly confident DBG (I seem to almost ALWAYS type "sony" first and have to correct myself) will get this right the first time. A LOT changed with items/stats in ways that could end up breaking shit. It'll be super interesting to see what happens, especially if additional tuning is required.

To update, click update.exe in your MQ2 folder.

The ETA for the new update is around 8pm EST.

It's best to click update.exe every few days, just to make sure you have the latest version.
