Crashes going crazy

It may help to include what you were doing that may relate to this.

Keep in mind that when a crash occurs the dmp is sent to crash site, there's a notification, and no context. Now you've added more notifications to the same thing without any context.

Hi All. I too am having a similar experience with the crash reports across all my characters.
I have no skills in this area so I am making no assumptions here and only hoping to get some direction on what I can try to do next. I miss the game style I play today.

I have 4 accounts on plugins and a bard and warrior on .ini

I have been playing with MQ and this mix of characters for about two years with no problems. All of a sudden these crashes started.

Launcher v1.0.94 as of today

It started on Friday 9-6-2024
Fired up MQ then I logged 6 accounts in and when the last one hit the game They all crashed generating the crash reports.
I immediately cleaned all that up and rebooted. I then logged all 6 accounts back in without loading MQ. I was able to move around in and out of various zones. No issues.
Checked all their log directories for large log files. There were none.
I closed everything out and rebooted. I started MQ and then logged all my chars in again. This time i got in and was able to look at two or three of their screens when the crash happened again.

Saturday 9-7-2024
Fresh reboot. Opened MQ - Plugins successfully loaded - hit Very Vanilla and did a reinstall. Once completed loaded chars again and crashed.
Fresh reboot. Logged only chars in without loading MQ and am able to move around to different zones.

Saturday afternoon i took advantage of some tech support i have paid for. After much ado the connected remotely to my desktop and did a bunch of diagnostics and such. At the end of it (about an hour and 15 mintes) they said i had a clean bill of health. Not sure what they can do hardware wise via remote but did not have the foresight to ask them questions around any of that.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

None of the smart dudes can do anything for you without pasting your crash message here, see examples above and note the ctrl+c you can use to copy it (rather than screenshotting). You may not be having the same issue as the OP at all.

I fired mq and logged all 6 chars in. Upon hitting the server they all crashed. I did the CTRL C and pasted that into a document. What CTRL C captured for this one character is the same as what i posted above. Am I miss understanding what you are telling me to do. I get six crash reports because I run each char out of its own EQ directory.

Here is a CTRL C for the same char as what i posted above.

Trying to transcribe the crashid from an image can sometimes be frustrating.

So yep, pasting it is what brain was looking for

thank you for posting the text.

Looked this up and theres absolutely nothing useful in it. crashed in who knows where doing who knows what. sorry.

obligatory what cpu do you have?

I don't live in this world so here goes. From my paper work on the box -
MFG: IBUY POWER
Description: TRACE 930 - Intel Core i7 - 7700 - gtx 1060 - 16 gb
Accessories: h100i water cooler, 2x ml120 pro led fans

I also realized that the box is 7 years old. Though I have not had any problems with it up to last Friday. I play almost everyday.

More info:
1. I had remote diagnostics done on the box. All greek to me but i watched the screen lots of activity. This went on for about an hour and a half. At the end they said the box (paraphrasing here) looked fine.
2. Yesterday someone in game ( i can log my main into game with out mq and play/talk to guildies) suggested i update my Graphics Card driver. I did this. *** Now when I log in with MQ I get all 6 in and only a portion of them crash. I have tested this several times. The crashed characters seems to be random.

Thank you for the support.

if you haven't disabled the new ui engine, you should do that

UseNewUIEngine=0 in your eqclient.ini

Just an update. The new UI was turned on for all chars. I turned it off for all chars. I logged in without crash. Ran a 10 minute mission. Dropped the task on all. Got out of instance. Once in regular zone i immediately crashed on 3 of 6 accounts. Closed the crash screens, logged everyone left off and rebooted. Logged mq and everyone in and they all crashed. I think it might be time for a break

Thanks everyone for your support.
