Silikten, Mochila is right, using shared is practically an auto ban since DOD came out. OK, using warp is potentially hazardous too of course, but shared creates a 'flag'.

Listen, I tried pointing out something helpful to you, and you try to flame me even though you're the one in the dark. There is no autoban flag set off by warping and chain zoning and killing noobs. There is an autoban flag set off by transferring no drop items through shared bank now.

People who got banned for afk macroing and warping were caught by a GM. A GM doesn't need to "catch" you shared banking. The server does it for them, and then they ban you forever.

we think it was implemented with the message you get when a no trade item is in the bank

do as you like... no one is telling you not to ... just giving additional warning that alot of the bans lately have been for trading no drop items to other toons

I used this up until that patch .. when a bunch of folks got stuck .. because they had forgotten to remove the no trade items from their toons shared slot...

BUT i have not used it since then .. and so far all my toons are alive and kicking...

Edit:
Just added my entire offsets folder, zipped. I keep each offset in a seperate .ini file (easier to find and update), then I simply combine them all with this command:

grep -l "2005.11.16" * | xargs cat | cat >> ..\MQ2DoCrack.ini

grep, cat and xargs are unix command line tools. They can be found as Win32 ports as well (which is what I use).

48 out of the 73 offsets in the zip are with the latest date.

Hello everyone. I just read this thread about all the fuss over the shared bank hack. I need a working version of it. I know someone who thinks he can block the message sent to the server. However, he needed someones account to try it on. I am going to ship to Iraq in a matter of days, so I figured what the hell. We are going to see if we can find a way to block the packet sent to the server. However I need a working version of it. If this works I would be more than welcome to share it. Just thought I would throw that out there for you.

It's not that noone knows how to find it. Hell, even *I* know how to find it. I'm just saying wasting the time to do it is much akin to convincing Michael Jackson that sleeping with other people's 6 year-old boys is *NOT* normal. Like I said, an exercise in futility.

I'm just trying to save you a lot of time and a little disappointment. It's being traced. It's server-side. It can't be stopped. The tracing can take place even when you are not logged in. The check has absolutely nothing to do with the client. There is no packet being sent, thus there is no packet to block.

I know it's disappointing man, and you probably still have some little part of your brain telling you "it's possible..." - but it's just not. Noone can do it. Brad McQuaid couldn't do it. The man who wrote the software that operates the worldservers couldn't do it. Please, please, please understand that it simply can't be done.

I'm leaving for Iraq myself in February... I don't know about you, but I'm spending what precious little time I have left with my friends and family, and building a compile here and there... Enjoy it while you can, and let's allow shared bank transfers to die with dignity. I know I got my good use out of that offset.
