pre-paid cards (1 Viewer)

hey folks..hoping someone can help me here. I purchased 8 prepaid gamecards from a seller on ebay, when the cards came, I found out they were unusable because they had not been "activated" at the point of purchae, of course the seller is no longer availabe, etc, etc.
Does anyone know if there is a way to activate these cards? I know they were purchased at a Gamestop store....Help???

If I had to take a guess, I would assume that the cards were stolen... therefore never activated. If by any chance he sent you a receipt with the cards for when he purchased them I'd say take that to the store and try to get them activated with that.

since you bought them on ebay, file a claim via paypal if you used paypal, also contact ebay and ask what you should do

Do a chargeback through PayPal. Tell them that you were not sent the items as described, and you are now unable to contact the seller. They'll do a chargeback.

yeah..contacted the seller, he actually refunded me my money through paypal, yup, i was stunned too..AND sent me the damn cards, seems a shame they just are dog chewies now, was trying to find a way to activate them
