Question - Recently returned, have lots of toons, but new to boxing and leveling others... (1 Viewer)

Recently returned and seemed to have found my footing on main again until the urge to have a box team that can complete most progressions. Main is 110 Snowsquall (110) geared Zerk. 2nd account I finally got my Shaman to 93 with Boreal (92) gear and have made a heroic war to round out the three. Trying to use only cats (hence no sk) no mercs unless quest requires more bodies. Main question is How do I catch them up? Top camp my zerk can handle with only shaman or does he pop a cleric till they catch up? Maybe I try to level them one at a time? I've never tried to powerlevel a toon before, no idea what might work? I always leveled up doing quests and grinds in groups/guild before now and only one toon at a time.
 
best way is quantity over quality. It's grindy, but you'll get there.

Fight somewhere that your lower levels get good/decent EXP and the high level toon can manage mostly solo (allowing for the small heals from the shaman to help). use something MQ2XPTracker to see what your hourly gain is. You didn't specify what the main is, presumably a berzerker? you mentioned a warrior, but didn't specify the level.

CoV level progression pretty much requires a proper group. Mercs won't cut it imo.

Thanks, edited the missing main info unfortunately after you replied (will proof posts before sending next time). War was born 85 and still there with Heroic gear. I was leaning towards shaman only heals appreciate the encouragement there. Will check out tracker next. I'm assuming this method will keep me mostly out of trouble until my war gets high enough that he ganks agro off zerk before he's ready. About a week in and The MQ2 Sha has been fantastic. The MQ2 Zerk is awesome as dps but me being new, I was slow to get the set up for tanking with it. The MQ2 war just feels incomplete as for now he barely handles his own shadow right now and is stuck assisting, but If it tanks as well as the sha sha's and the zerk dps's it should be great.
 
It depends on how much of a hurry you are in. ..... The House of Thule expansion can take you to 95 if you start in courtyard and progress to the castle.. (a lot of folks stay in gounds till they hit it, but I always go to valley (off of argath) after level 90. Pulling with a tank can be a challange but the 110 zerk should be able to kill multiple mobs with decapitate in Grounds. If you can mange a 4 box, add a bard for pulling (can be a cat). Just my 2 cents.

My war could likely do that too, My Zerk and shaman did them with mercs during those levels. Shaman is in the middle of doing the Fear portions. I think maybe, yes, i'm in more of a hurry to get war up fast enough to tank at least for the shaman if not the zerk.

and the "valley" does sound like it might just be next at least to test the waters. Thank you.
 
Thank you all again. The valley worked out well, and by keeping mobs to about 30 secs per kill as long as the shaman could keep the zerk alive worked real well. Faster kills were too much work for too little benefit so far. Slower than 30 secs per kill seemed to slow the xp also regardless of which zone. So the focus and reassurance helped much, getting a much better feel for switching the wheel between zerk and war and the sha has been rockstead even on names that got zerk down below 50 in first engagement. I now get more done in less time and still have room for for friends when available.

Searching for info on these augs will lead you to dead ends. Short answer do these quest sk gets fills every 7/8 aug slot with 30 ac.

My advice would be to add toons to get your group to a full 6 now. Only must add IMO is a bard or enchanter for CC and I'd recommend bard based on your team make-up so far. I found it easier to level up my team together vs. in shifts.
 
Welcome back! I too have just learned of this opportunity and cannot wait to be able to try it. I think it will be a good thing and will only help me better my growing family of characters :)

I tried to learn how to play a war, but so far its been an epic fail. I think the first mistake was not training taunt and i really wondered why my taunt never worked.
