This past weekend I decided to go to a local computer show and sale in order to pick up some old-school RAM for my computer. Also I wanted to see if I could get some good deals on illegal copies of windows. Since the show and sale was right across the street from my mansion, I decided to stop by while on my way back from an orgy.

After paying an entrance fee to get in, (Why the hell you do you have to PAY to get in to a place to go BUY stuff?) I was treated to the most horrendus smells known to man. This didn't come from the Koreans selling motherboard CPU bundles, or the hard-drive bargain-bin dealers. It came from the smelly computer guys browsing the soft-core porn isle and video card accessories.

When did body odor become a fashionable scent to have nowadays? I regularly work out, and after working out, my pits can have a very rank scent to them. You can probably smell them if I lift my arm and move side to side to accelerate the odor. So why the hell can I smell a computer show customer 10 feet away with his arms down?

I understand that most of your expendible income goes to buying computer shit that you probably don't need, but you should probably save 5 dollars, buy a loofa and some liquid soap, and get to scrubbing your balls. I have enclosed some helpful links on different types of soaps and cleaning aids that are relatively cheap, simple to use, and can be found at your local grocery store.

Ha-ha! I noticed the same thing up in Minnesota. The state fair grounds opens up for a huge sale once per year. You pay an entrance fee, and then you're encased in a fog of dork-funk. So yah, while you're looking for "sweet deals" what you're really looking for, is a window, or fabreeze, or Oust, or... an exit.

I simply adore dorks, nerds, dweebs, and geeks... but only the ones who bathe daily.

I find that if you go early enough in the morning, you can beat the funk and get the better stuff.

I went to one of those things at the MN State fair grounds a few years back. It was nasty. And some crazy Russian guy kept trying to sell us a rig, boasting about its "DEE VEEEEH DEEE" burner over and over. After paying the entry fee all I got were a bunch of pens i stole from a booth, and my friend got a decent logitech optical mouse for 5 bucks.

Weak. I stick to new egg.

I still have softcore gifs my dad bought on 3.5 floppy back in the day at something like this. Booya

I just remember going there back in the day and upgrading the overclocked 133 that I had been playng EverQuest on.

I'm a tornado shopper. I get in, get my stuff, and get the hell out. The only time I pansy-foot around is when there are video games involved. Fortunately for me, I didn't see any there. The sucky part was that I had to go back there twice in one day. The motherboard that I bought was huge. And I had gotten one of those giganto Voodoo 5 cards. I needed a giganto case! Ahh, nerd memories.

I hear awesome things about New Egg. I wll try them next. It's about time to build a rig that will handle DX10 nicely. It's just that I'm a cheap bastard and want to get away with what I've got for as long as I can.

I rarely buy in store anyhow nowadays. I'll browse best buy here and there like if im buying a TV, then buy it online.

When EQ came out I had a P2 and a Viper 550. VooDoo5 was the shit.

EQ is still engraved in my brain as an epic memory, as gay as it sounds.

I have been thinking about building a new rig but I am about to buy a house, so its out of the question. I will be stuck with the same rig for a while i'd imagine.

NewEgg it for sure! There are customer reviews and ratings which you can read. you can usually judge the quality of a piece by the # of reviews and whatnot. I have never had a problem with them. Package usually arrives within 3-4 days of ordering.
