I'd like to see what class keeps what spells memmed for their level. Copy the template below, then paste it in your reply and add your information. I'll hit THANKS as much as I can each day for the first 25 responses. Answer as many times as you have toons if you wish.

I tend to eyeball my toons a little different. Since I am constantly helping folks level their toons, I look at... well a template for spell line up and fill in the top level spell for that template. So when I am playing my top end toon, or someone elses low end toon, I have the same basic set ups, just the power/name of the spells are different. For instance

Necro is something I been at since Kunark, it is a swiss army knife class if you take the time to get to know it well. This is just a basic group/raid line up, with a second DoT spell set for the long laasting DoTs. If the group is killing fast enough I will drop the secondary DoTs for pet swarm and DDs. Or is needed utilize Mezz/slow. I have not done a parse lately, but my necro was usually trading places with mages to be just under wizards, if not right alongside wiz on the long fights.

Part of this request is looking at some of the actual spells people are using for their class, and perhaps how they like them memmed. Like Heals first or debuffs first? But for the sake of how I want to gather the data, I really need the actual name of the spells rather than just saying "dot" or "mez" etc. That helps, but only for a small portion of what I'm looking for. If you wouldn't mind, could you update with the names of the spells for at least the level 105s or maybe level 100s?
 
I'm a heals at top, dps middle, mezz/util at bottom type of guy myself.

All INI files are still being updated/tweaked, still relatively new to MQ2 and only in the last couple weeks have i begun to understand holy/downshits
 
Noticing some mage spell line ups don't have any rain nukes. Not an expert on caster DPS, just always searched around and copied what seemed best and always saw that mage should be casting rain nukes whenever and as much as possible.
 
i don't often use AoE spells, it tends to upset the enchanter who works hard to mez, now when i'm plowing dungeons worth of light blues and greens... and the tank can keep aggro for those few seconds, sure, otherwise i don't AoE
 
It's not just an AoE, it's a rain of damage in 3 waves that has a chance to crit each wave. Not sure if KISS can do it, but the mac I use is set to only fire rain nukes when there is only one mob, so my enchanter can mez away no problem. Rain nukes (from what I read and parse) is a mages bread and butter for DPS and my mage actually does comparable DPS to my wizards when it can cast rain spells and that is before adding in the pet DPS. Without casting rain nukes, the mage is subpar DPS. Pares it out. My mage does all the other non-AE nukes when more than one mob and his DPS sucks as shown with the parse, but when it's just one mob and he is raining away, he usually tops the parse.

Problem with AOE nukes is you fuck up the Crowd Control the MEzzer just took all his mana putting to sleep so you don't wipe. That is why most boxers don't use AOE.

The main idea behind the new /writespell command is too include the spells with your ini file and Kiss will use it to mem the spells for that ini file.
Its part of a bigger project to use different ini files with kiss. Should be done in the next week or so.
