I searched and could not locate the answer, but am guessing this is not the first time it is being asked so I apologize in advance.

If I buy a 1-month subscription can I "upgrade" it within that same month to the 1-year subscription for the difference in price?

hrm good question, you're actually the first to ask this.

I don't know if you can do that automatically, how about you try it and report back? If our system doesn't allow it, I'll still make sure you get $10 off the yearly.

You can definitely upgrade the "lurker" membership to full level 2, but I configured that so long ago I forgot how I did it :p

EDIT:

I've added the option for "monthly" subscribers to upgrade to 3, 6, and 12 month versions.
