Hello!
Coming back after a little break.... prior to break I was working on leveling up a single group.

Does anyone have a suggested server to play on for a group setup? I'd like to be able to push/do the 6 man content up to current state.
I believe I was reading that some folks run raids with this community... maybe in the months to come I'd be interested in that, so would like to put myself on a server where likeminded folks are.

this comes up a lot - a search will show you a lot of results and conversations in and around them.

it is best to keep your server to yourself.

a high populated server (FV / Mischief, which coincindentally can trade no-trade loot which makes boxing a dream) has a market, but also has a lot of eyeballs
a low populated server, has fewer eyeballs, but also a market

in my experience every server has some people with nothing better to do than try and #Save EQ from the curses and evils of mq users

for > me < i just prefer trying to keep a low profile on quiet servers

if you don't care about a low profile do fv/mischief

Now that I'm reading this reply, I feel I've read this exact reply before while snooping. Thank you for putting up with the repetition =)

a risk of not looking and not reading things that folks say over and over, is folks who are inclined to make a detailed post end up getting "fuck bruh, i said this 50 times already" fatigue and you end up getting very short responses, or none --- or bad takes lol

welcome back btw, glad to have you bro

Happy to be back!
Some friends talked me into spending this last weekend playing EverCraft (alpha testing weekend)... gave me the itch for EQ.

Going to need to start saying thanks to all the people that created the setup guides/videos for my bumbling self to go through.
I forgot how helpful all the links in your signature are until I saw your reply.

I have no preference on servers to suggest, but I'll say you can copy your current group to test server. There are XP perks, gold status without paying, folks are helpful and usually generous. Drawbacks are no economy, but what you see in the bazaar is usually more then affordable. As Sic said, quiet servers and reasonable play are your friends.

I feel like there are other factors that should really be mentioned here, but I am not trying to skew the conversation that way. OP, if Test does sound like something you may be interested in, please do your homework! I'd start on the Test MQ release page.
