Some of you may be familiar with a player on Zek named Vinney or Armourcarr. Sadly he passed about 2 years ago. He was widely known for his amazing housing creations. So many of them have little things going on that you don't notice when first looking at them! And an all around good guy in the game.

Players got together that first year to add upkeep to his houses so they would not get removed due to expired escrow.

Well, now it's 2 years later and the player who was keeping an eye on escrow is no longer playing or involved. He asked for someone to pick up overseeing the houses. So I offered. Thinking we could do something like we did the first year, I posted on some servers, in a board etc explaining and asking for donations. No one responded.

I was able to save 2 from getting evicted but ran out of plat. Considering there are so few players on that server, it did not look like there was anyone to buy a krono to get more plat. I mentioned to Rob Renfro the dilemma I was in and he did not ask questions, did not prevaricate or himmm haww around. He said, "How much do you need?"

Rob gave me enough plat to cover ALL the houses for quite a while. 51 Houses. How amazing! I can never thank him enough. He is always there to help be it chatting, plat or advice. I am very glad to have met him and count him among my friends.

These are a few pics of the houses. They are spread out all over the neighborhood and most are open to go inside. I know there was a gnome or dwarf on a roasting spit in a fireplace but I can't remember where it was!

Server is Zek. Neighborhood is Cedar County Meadows. The first ones at the zone in cannot be entered, they were never finished.

This second picture in black is all you see when you enter one of them - like the twilight zone. The third one the flames actually move and the house inside is all ice. Stay away from the friendly gnome around the smoke in yet another one. That is a maze that is hard to get out of (had to throne of heros lol) It's safe to climb the slats or steps to houses in the sky. There are so many and I am sure these are not the best examples.

Anyway thank you so much Rob. And I hope others will enjoy these houses.

Has anyone thought about reaching out to Daybreak about this?

They may allow the houses to stay up without upkeep as a form of memorial.

Just food for thought!

Yes, I did think of that but Daybreak has an odd criteria for memorials in the game, most are shot down and those that do go thru are for players who the staff have interacted with more.

This worked out well thanks to Rob. <3
