On the eastern side of Beaver Island, near the common lands zone line, there is a camp of npcs.
Seek out Vanquisher Sharhan (-270, 0, -290).
You say : "Hail, Vanquisher Sharhan."
And he proceeds to have a lengthy conversation with you. He says that he's here to get rid of the Thexians who've disturbed an old necromancer's lair nearby. Further conversation relays that a long time ago, before the fall of Neriak there was a very powerful Necromancer who found a way to steal the souls of not just the dead, but the living as well. He fed on every living and dead but eventually the people trapped him down below the obelisk. But now the Thexians have been messing around in his lair and have taken some artifacts. What artifacts? Blood runes!
You agree to go and get those runes for him.
Go Get the Runes
Go to where the Thexians are camped and kill enough of them to find the five runes. (-1415, 32, -1364) you will find a small stone obelisk near some wagons that make up a dark elf camp. It is due north of the bear caves on the map.
Two Thexian Vin Chosen spawn on either side of the obelisk with a short respawn time.
Ruffians can be found just up the hill behind the obelisk.
Guards and Scouts spawn as part of groups that can be found near locations [-1584, 46, -1353] and [-1501, 3, -1073].
The mobs are in the level range of 25 to 28.
Gain Information from Kixizor Z'Nast
You've retrieved the five runes, now find and kill Kixizor Z'Nast (Level 27, caster). He's at the Thexian camp around wagons at location (-1381, 28, -1351). Once you kill him your quest will update and a chest will pop up from the ground, and there is a note inside of it.
Go back and get your reward!
Vanquisher Sharhan will reward your effort with EXP, 60sp, and you are now able to access The Lair of the Necromancer. You enter the Lair of the Necromancer by clicking on the stone obelisk where you killed the Thexians.
