Question - "The Leviathan's Heart: No Remains" achievement help (1 Viewer)

What is the way to get this one? Been struggling with this achievement. For the Custodian to re-enter the battle for the final time, what is the condition that needs to be met? Is it timed, or are there specific mobs I can leave up to give myself more time to kill off the adds necessary for this achievement?

you have to kill or depop the final 35% remnants and any others that are up before the boss hits 30%

and

When the heart is at 39-40%. All dps off him, just tank slow rolling it. Remnant pop, all dps to them. Again keep it slow till he teleports then just jeep remnants dead as you finish him off. Usually ignore the 2% ones.

This is supposed to be getting fixed in the patch tomorrow, so I'm not sure if its worth fretting over - but the way I do it with 100% success is to slow roll the entire mission stopping every time the remnants pop.

The cheese seems to be currently bugged where the game gets confused and ANY time the custodian leaves and re-enters can cause as fail so that 2% window when the remnants pop at 57% and the boss de-aggros at 55% is a likely fail point.

I do the same as Darkwynd. It works. Super slow DPS on named. Make sure everyone stops to get on adds any time they pop. Make sure your tank does not riposte or DS the boss while cleaning up the pops.

I hold him at 2% health for like 5 minutes to get the last two remnants, kill remnants, then kill boss.

got mine doing pretty much like all have said here. used a dragon glyph on the group and even put one of my dps toons on pause with aq1 follow Lua . killed every add and remnant before attacking the custodian., its slow going but works.

This one seems really wonky. Seems at times you can do everything your suppose to and you wont get it the achievement, other times it works. Others have expressed the same opinion.

I agree this one is wonky. I slow roll this one and stop dps on eye any time remnants are up and get them dead before he poofs/summons or otherwise changes positions. Some of the remnant pops (the 57 to 55 and the one at 2%) are very close together so if DoTs on the eye it's a miss.
That said, I've done this and was 100% sure I got it, open chest, failed No Remains and other times I was 100% sure I failed and got it.
Hopefully patch takes care of it.

Post-patch, I was able to get the achievement. Pretty much just killed all remnants that popped. At around Custodian's HP at 50%, I saw the achievement message when he re-activated.

Only snafu was during the first remnant. When I targetted and turned on attack, it seemed the remnant warped, and my group took off running quite a long ways away. Not sure if they killed it or it despawned, but they eventually ran back with an add in tow.
