If you notice and use correct diction while say it it makes sence.
Also if you C&P it in to MS work you will notice that it is correct.
Just a random though for the day.

1 != 1
 
1/3+1/3+1/3 =.33333333+.33333333+.33333333

and .33333333+.33333333+.33333333=.9999999999

and by def. of the transitive prop. of addition, 1/3+1/3+1/3=.99999999

BUT 1/3+1/3+1/3=/=.99999999 it is .00000000000000000000000000000000000001off

how the hell does THAT work?
 
1/3 is a repeating decimal. 0.33333333333333333333333333333... forever. Anything less than an infinite number of 3's after the decimal point is inaccurate.
 
Using that trick you can make 9=10! (I forget how :( )

And that is all i have right now -.- try subsituting something in for each word like,

this is not true

1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 = 1
1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 = 0.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999...

now ill prove this

x=0.9999...
10x=9.99999...

10x-x=9x
9.9999...-.9999...=9

x=9/9 or 1 therefore 0.99999999...=1

Not so, silly humans! For improper fractions, i.e., those that do not round to a [ten based number system] completion, their notation in decimal form is the devil's own creation. 1/3 will NEVER be 0.333333333... It will always be exact! You just cant show it's precision in your number system based on your physiogomy, which has 10 distinct appendages attached to the mirror imaged pair of extension terminations which you call hands.

On a planet where the sentients have but one extension from their body and that extension's termination has a triplet of prehensile members, 1/3 would be exactly 0.100000
 
Yup it would be based on a 3 number system. not 10. So at that point 1+1+1+1 = 13

SO you would carry the one and make it 13. So 1/3 would =.1

The mathematicians just got it as close as they could to work with a 10 based system. Most of the calculators back then couldn’t do the scientific calculations that the ones nowadays do. This may seem weird but that is why.
