Usually people ask about best trio or best 6 man team. I'm curious, what's your thoughts on best foursome with 2 mercs?

I'm considering starting fresh on a different server, from scratch. I'll probably just go with SK as my tank and I might want to go more melee. So start I'm thinking SK/BRD/DRU/BST with healer and rogue merc. I'm guessing most will suggest I loose the druid for a rogue or zerker but it would be nice to have some porting around especially pre level 100. Additionally the druid/cleric merc healing combo should get the job done pretty well.

I originally had that group config with the exception of war in place of the sk. Used it from sod through TBL, which I wasn't around during TBL or ROS really. Added 2 more with ToV though. I tended to use 2 rogue mercs, or 1 rog/1cleric for tougher named.

Another option would be the SK/BRD/SHM/Zerk with cleric merc and rogue merc. That should be a pretty decent mix of high DPS and quality heals.

BST x4 with two cleric mercs. But I have to ask. Why not just create two FTP characters for healers and run full group of 6? You are already running 4 soooo.. FTP players are still better than mercs.

before i added my berserkers i did war, bard, shm, as my base trio and then the 4th initially was a ranger, then a wiz, and for about a year or so its been a druid. i dont regret adding a second healer to my box crew, with ports and teleport to bind etc.

that leaves your two mercs to be dps or whatever you're wanting. you could do 2 healer mercs, ive done that before and thats worked out pretty good.

I know this sounds like an odd foursome but I got better real life PL results than with A Ranger and Rogue killing humanoids in Umbral Plains. Where I had my pulls so down it should have been illegal. Oh wait it was! And fun it was!

I love those Redheads myself brother. They're all insane, but that's probably why!

If I were doing generics here I would say Japanese Girl with a British Accent, Chestnut Haired French- Canadian girl and a South American Latina, maybe Ecuadorian.
