Hey all, I got something bugging me. It's a small thing but bugs the piss out of me (my OCD is showing).

I have 6 toons running on a single monitor in windows mode (can't run full screen because of the size of my monitor) and each window is just slightly in a different position and a different size. So when I switch between toons the screen "zooms" z little bit left, right, up, down. The imgui windows do also. Oh man, this bugs me. HA!

So, my question is- Where in my EQ or MQ settings are the positions of the windows? If I could find them I could jusy copy the same x,y,z position across all toons and all imguis.

Again, not biggie just makes my eyes hurt.

Thanks all!

BB~

There are a couple things here:

Google how to turn off your focusing on windows (I am assuming windows, otherwise google for that OS). Since I don't worry about this, I don't have a deep knowledge of it but saw it when Windows Themes was a thing. Basically the window you "on" is in focus and has different highlights/shadows affecting it and this is "adjusting" your pixels. The background windows (the ones you're not focusing on) all have the same "theme"). You want the foreground and background to match so that when you click between there is no difference and you basically can't tell which window your clicking on except by the cursor.

Next is EQ. Window positioning in EQ is in the UI_character_server_class.ini file. There is a whole website on the interface. EQinterface.com.

Next is MQ. I am not 100% on this but there is the overlay and the injected windows (if they still exist, as I don't use them). I don't recommend playing with this as you should be adjusting in game on one client then saving by logging out and back in (there are a couple posts about this magic). Once saved on one client it should replicate as long as the same things are opened.

There is a fourth thing to keep in mind. EQ sucks with window positioning and mode changes. I have 6 toons running on 4 monitors, full screen in windowed mode. I have to do adjustments every time I start the computer.

Hope this helps.
