Question - Wizard Epic 1.0/2.0/2.5 -- Worth it, or waste of time? (1 Viewer)

I just finished PL'ing my new wizard to 105 and have started doing AA's. I'm trying to make a list of all the things I'd like to do (or need to do) with him, and just realized I never considered his epic. How necessary/useful is tie wizard epic to a grouping and (maybe someday) raid wizard?

In my point of view, the 0.8 seconds it takes to cast it once every 180 seconds (or whatever it is), is better wasted on throwing a nuke.

Off the top of your head, what does it do? Does it stack with other epics, etc? Bard/shaman epics have incredible synergy, and always were thrown at the same time on raid burns. Is there something similar with the wizard epic?

Also, any opinions on the chanter one?
