Hi Guys,

Not played for a few years now. I dipped back in during 2012 and played solidly before up to 2009ish

I have done lots of boxing and use MQ2 lots. I even remember the Ghost hacks etc and used them for a while.

Anyways

Now with the heroic Guys I fancying dipping my toe into the water again. Not sure if I want to box again or just pick a Cleric or SK (assuming they still get instant groups?) and play legit (ish) for a while.

Thing is im a UK player and will be playing in the evenings and weekends for a few hours. I wont be able to do late night raids etc any more and I naturally want to group.

Am I going to log into a Server empty until the US get online?

The other question is, assume that I decide to box a whole group, Whats the Ideal class set up now? I am thinking SK, Cleric, Bst (Tank, heals, slows/dps) then 3x dps so like 3 rogues or Mages?

Also taking MQ2 I am familiar with Kissassist which is awesome but are there any majorly powerful plugins(like warp etc or ghost) still going?

Taking breaks from EQ is normal for every player I think =)

Returning now is awesome though with all the heroic upgrades going on.

AB is certainly not empty, but I wouldnt call it crowded either.

If you really wanna box legit (assuming you have 3 accounts), I would go SHD, BRD, SHM and 3 x wizard merc (can always drop 1 for a healer merc on nameds)

If you gonna use MQ2/KA7. I would go SHD, CLR, ENC and 3 x wizard merc.

Dunno about those powerful plugins and I would never use those anyways =)

Ah I forgot about the Mercs. I would box using MQ2/KA7. Deffo would only box 3 in that case.

Whats the program that easier/smother to box?

Why would you pick an ENC for boxing or just for cc slows n buffs?

I have like 9 accounts or something knocking around and inherited.

Are new accounts able to get hero toons?

The other issue of course is post DON my knowledge of EQ is totally gone.

Only one heroic character per household on accounts created after November 8th 2013.

I never group myself for various reasons, but a friend of mine played cleric and he made/joined groups pretty fast (may vary from day to day ofc).

Right I have recovered/found my old accounts and I need to install EQ. Sadly my internet is down until tuesday when it is getting upgraded.

Is there anyway to see what characters are on what account without logging into EQ itself?

Also it seems I should be able to have 1 hero per account as they were created before the date threshold so thinking on what to create.

eqplayers doesnt work anymore so logging in seems to be the only way to check im afraid

Hi Nice,

We did some grouping last time (checked the PM's on here) Spent allot of time in Plane of Tactics in the pit if you remember grinding aa's

Think I might resurrect the team I had then but maybe bin out a couple in favor of the hero guys.

I know I had an SK, Shm and bard I think maybe Think I then had cleric merc and 2melee dps mercs. I use The shaman proc spell exhaustively (plus proc song from bard) so now I have a better pc etc I might add in a couple of BST simply coz of melees and pets and a cleric from heroic.

Not to sure yet till I see what I had etc.

Hoping to be back playing Wednesday next week if my internet is fixed then (upgrading to faster connection)
