EverQuest (live servers) were patched today so brainiac is spending his evening updating MacroQuest. Please show him your appreciation.
I have been using TCN for a few years now and I love this lua. Even if you tradeskill infrequently this is how it should be. It is intuitive once you get the hang of it. Lots of people available to help you get started! Just ask questions!
Took a few times using it to really get it figured out and get used to the UI, but I’m so happy that I finally got this lua. The ability to generate farming lists, the auto shopping, auto-learning recipes. Amazing lua here
Like the man said, "It's the stuff tradeskill dreams are made of. Everything you need to get everything you need. And I still find myself wanting to buy the other recipe packs for it. It runs quests for you. It does everything but get you to 350 while you drink beer and listen to music. Put in very little work and you get so much in return.
This is AWESOME. It took my dumb ass a lil' minute to figure it out but once I did I've been blown away. Astounding amount of work getting this together. It's a LOT of fun and saved me from wrist surgery.
Initially had an issue with the lua causing awful framerate, but after a clean reinstall of windows/eq it's working smoothly now. The lua itself is wonderful, basically everything you could ask for. Not just learning recipes, but making things in batch without needing to worry about sub combines.
This is a must have plugin if you TS. $41.00 for a 20 year license is way too generous for the amount of work that's gone into this! I'd gladly pay yearly and it would still be worth it.
I play on a TLP where MQ2 isn't allowed and still bought this. I test copied and created a shopping list for 350 Artisans Seal to farm on the TLP. Worth the 39 dollars there alone. Jb is also super helpful as I had a ton of questions about how best to do it.
Really helps keep track of missing recipes and components. Definitely a must for getting to 350 without having to keep a complex spreadsheet of missing recipes and components. New features constantly.
Well worth the cost just to prevent RSI! It basically provides modern crafting-system features you would find in other games plus movement. jb321 is obsessively active with updating and adding features. It'll help motivate you to at least get 300 on characters you can't stomach getting 350 on.
jb321 has evolved this Trade skill LUA from his previous macro(s) and I must be honest and say, I think I would cry without it! Yes you have to pay for access, but it's a one off and yes there is a learning curve, BUT it saves SO much time and clicking!! So MUCH! I'm doing the Artisan Prize, I currently LOVE JB321.
