I only use two accounts, any help getting set up with a bard/wizard combo and mage/ranger combo would be appreciated. I normally use a tank merc and healer merc with the bard and wizard. Mainly just a healer merc on the mage/ranger combo. I’d like something to set up to auto pull, especially on the bard/wizard.
Thanks

Sooooooooooooo......... not much to work with here based on your question.

KissAssist is an option and can be found here: https://www.redguides.com/community/threads/kissassist.61791/
RGMercs Lua is an option found here: https://www.redguides.com/community/resources/rgmercs-lua-edition.3040/
Buying the class plugins (require level 2 access) is an option and they can be found here https://www.redguides.com/community/resources/categories/plugins.11/?order=title&direction=asc

I'm sure there are others, but those are the 3 I can think of. Read about each, decide which works for you, and then figure out how to and what setup works for your situation. I'm not trying to be obtuse, but you didn't say what automation you where interested in using. So I gave you a few choices/options for automation.

The assistants available (Kiss, RGMercs, CWTN Class plugins, and others) differ greatly in how much fine-tuning you will need to do.

For one example, Kiss uses ini files, and when you level and get new spells, you must edit the ini to change your spell set up. This is not difficult for a person who is comfortable with editing text files, and once you get the swing of things, it's not that annoying. Kiss uses "modes", so you would set your puller to Puller and your tank to Tank. There are other modes. I believe Kiss is free if you have a Level 2 sub here on Redguides.

I have no experience with RGMercs.

CWTN Class plugins, for example MQ2Mage, work out of the box. They know the spells you should have and how to use them. CWTN also uses modes, for pulling, tanking and other stuff. They are not free except on the Test server. A great way to play around with the CWTN plugins is to make a couple of characters on Test and fool around.

Have fun in your explorations!

RGMercs Lua is designed to run out of the box, with built-in default "class configs" that adjust to the user's level, with tweaks and fine-tuning possible in a GUI or CLI (for buttons).
It has simple toggles to handle most common use cases, and it also has support for near total customization for any ability use (at any time) through editing the rotations or their entries in custom class configs.
Lua means the sky is the limit when it comes to creating functions to govern ability entries and conditions (or even to tinker under the hood to one's heart's content, as some of our users do).

I don't think I can help much if you're committed to the four classes you've named. You've chosen to outsource tanking and healing and I'd argue that you should do the exact opposite by playing a tank and a healer and outsource your DPS.

SK, SHM, plus two melee DPS mercs.

Of course, the real weakness is that you really need one more account. That would allow you to run:

SK, SHM, BRD, plus 3 DPS mercs.

Just ONE more account..

Ok, TWO more!

(24 accounts later...) a RG regular!

in all seriousness.. If you're going to use these tools, you're way better off with the positions filled by actual toons, and not mercs.. there just isn't a comparison...

I'm not sure why you would mock my comment when you agree that the OP should have more accounts. Anyway, my advice for only one more account was based on the assumption that the OP didn't want/couldn't afford many more accounts. 3 accounts let's him run a full group. What I would have preferred is that you say something about the most important part of my advice, which was about not outsourcing tanking and healing to mercs. That was the heart of my comment, not running another account.

no mockery Vald, its just this is what inevitably happens with all of us.. As we use these tools, we just realize how powerful they are, and how inadequate a merc really is when compared to a MQ controlled character..

Its just that I find it funny, that slippery slope where we all start with the intention of 2 or 3-boxing, but end up running our own raids at some point haha

So I had ONLY two accounts, mainly using a bard to help my mage get his epic...

Now I've got a full 6 box group and we are hitting all the right spots, tank, dps, heals, rez, cc.... Eventually you need it all. I also am not a very social person so I'm not LFG I want to be my own group.

@LorDeth is right…but also wrong in one respect. There is no greater giveaway to a bot team that automation pulling (due to pathing) OR a group of the same 6 characters moving about in perfect harmony.

If you’re looking to minimize eyes on you stick with tank (of choice), enchanter (better for overall balance and reliability), cleric (same readon as enchanter) and a mage. Use ranged option (with line of sight) for all pulling…to reduce bot appearance.

Minimize your exposure when playing in the open to less than handful of hours. Nothing more obvious than the same team camping something for half a day at the same spot.

Just my two cents…

I’d go CWTN or RGMercs…depending on your coin situation. Both ate outstanding…amazing folks behind them…who care about your user experience
