I'm really considering coming back to EQ, but I'm thinking of starting fresh to begin with. I know it's been a conversation that's been had over and over, but I kinda wanna see what everyone would suggest a set up be for a casual group. Too bad I'm like 26 RedCents away from a month or I would be starting right now, lol.

Now you can start thanks to Birdman!

Remember the other thing is now that you are level 2 you can give others red cents which earn you red cents and if you post something fun, helpful or of interest the others will give you more red cents.

It's easy to earn 50 red cents a month to keep your level 2 going just by contributing to the community!

PS go with a Ranger! And 5 mages.

Red🐒 is the worst~ define your goals, and then build your team, MQ makes it easy to adjust later, when your El Dorado is different. In modern game (101+) Tank, Healer, CC (sk/war/pal) (shm/dru/clr) (brd/enc) last 3 spots are 100% what you want..l

Don't do it~

STEP AWAY FROM THE CRACK PIPE!!!!!!!

Don't do it!

do we ever really leave?

"Once I thought I was out, they pulled me back in!"

do what you have fun with, maybe try a different path from the last time you played? and like durango said; define your goals. do you want to get to endgame asap? or take it slow and enjoy the countryside.

nice thing about MQ is it allows you to do so much!

welcome back ! be sure to have fun!

I can honestly say that I have not "left" EQ even once. The longest break I took was not my choice. It was way back when Sony got hacked and they shut down all their games for a couple months. Other than that, 2 weeks is the longest I have gone without even logging in. It has always been my favorite game, and RG only makes it better!

Welcome back! The fun is still real and the community is still the best. A new, casual, fun team sounds like a great adventure. Maybe pick something you have not done yet and do that.

Paladin Cleric Druid Enchanter Wizard Necro Just because thats the next group I'll be Trying out
@hackzimus 's new team will be this good...

If you are considering coming back, and you have been gone for awhile, just be aware that DBG has recently (in the last year) gotten more aggressive with ban waves. SO, with that being said, before you come back and play with MQ on live, you have to get good in your mind with losing your accounts at a moments notice. Meaning, if you can accept starting over at any moment, then you are good.

When the ban waves happen, so many rageful posts about being banned, and then the investigation train starts rolling on trying do discover how they ban and why...etc etc. Unless someone is on their payroll, we will never know. So, there is that.

Also, check out the post in my signature for tip when using MQ. It might be useful to you
