Question - How much sustained DPS should a WIZ do? (1 Viewer)

I haven't played a WIZ before but now I have one. He seems to be doing about 70k sustained DPS just using the Kiss.INI that I got from here. Is 70k DPS normal for them? I thought they were supposed to be pretty high DPS sustained and very high burn?

He is 115 with max AA and T2 ToV gear.

This was the DPS on a named fight that lasted for a minute. #1 is the MNK and #2 is the WIZ on IHCWIZ

@eqtrader74 - three reasons. First, I can easily toggle the AEOn variable to manually control my Burn AAs without reconfiguring an entire ini if it’s entwined in my DPS section like others. Second, the AE criteria is continually assessed and executed if ready unlike the burn section which is one and done. Thirdly, it’s much neater, easier to read what’s going on in the ini, and per my experience seems to perform just as well.

You got a solid ini here, few questions. Have you tried this in kiss1004e15? Also, you don't need ranks in spell names anymore. I'm going to try it out. Suggestions, a high-end wiz told me I should be using Mana Infusion potions (Melee Proc Lvl 100 potion). Also, you might want to look and see if you like stickhow=loose and I don't think MQ2melee is needed on Wiz.

Then just do the same with (space)Rk. III gota love Notepad++

Funnily enough I personally reckon Mr Monk is about 100k DPS short of acceptable. Even though I’ve unplugged , I am tempted to try MQ2Monk. Our burns and disc weaves are indubitably similar but compared to a garden variety zerker or even rogue DPS, I feel Snoozy is an underperformer.

solution if I am prepared to bench 3 characters with 20k EQ completion points would be to drop ENC, MNK, WAR and add SK, BRD and Zerker
