From what i've seen aren't they auto setting specialisation cap now.... Its not like it use to be where first and second had highest points. I could be wrong but im pretty sure its preset now.
Interesting. I don't know, I thought I screwed it up on my cleric. She was suspended for 2 weeks when it all happened. Logged in and casted one spell and saw the specialization skillups and was like OMG I forgot. I will log into my Mage now and see.

Edit - My Mage are all at 180/285. I believe once I cast one above 186 it will force it to 285 max, and if I go to 236, I am good. My next one to 186, it will then take it to 235 max. The rest stay at 185 max.

Soo are you saying they are preset or no, Tad confused at your post. The 180/285 is throwing me off.. I dont have any toons that have not been reset anymore so i cant actually tell.

All i remember is i forgot about specing and first / second maxes and just ran the level ups, and well either i got real lucky or they were preset, because all mine were right.

They are not preset. You got lucky. I have to redo my mage I think. A named popped, I said screw it, so I ran CWTN and during the course of buffing and fighting, I have specialize evo and abjuration. Not sure I wanted that...I think I want evo/conj. Same on Shaman. I have alteration and Conj, when I prob should have Alt, Abj.

k working your suggestion anyways :)

Is there a way to skip a specific school? I'm currently getting hung up at 246/262 Alteration, been casting for over 10 minutes with no skill ups, would like to just move on to the next school.

I tried to use this for my druid but it tried to cast evocation damage spells - I thought that it did not do that.

Just let it do it's thing. The last few take a very long time.

Aipoc76 updated Max all Spell Skills with a new update entry:

2 specs FTW

You can now specify what 2 primary specializations you wish to train first for your Specialize Skill ability.
Example:
/mac allspellskill evocation conjuration

This would cause you you to train evocation first till your skill and specialize skill were maxed, then conjuration second till skill and specialize skill were maxed, then move on to the rest of the skills.

no there is not... and i feel ya i spent 45 min doin 10 skill ups for testing...

I enabled evocation 2 patches ago, since it picks a extremely low mana spell, 99.999999% of the time you should resist, and if you don't then you are most likely a low level toon, and should have a free mer healer up. :)

Ran this on my druid. Found an issue where the Abjuration spell found had a target type: animal and the spell would not cast. Modified IF statement and it fixed the issue.

/if (${Spell[${Me.Book[${x}]}].Skill.Equal[${_Skill}]} && ${Me.Book[${x}].RecastTime}<=${RTime} && ${Me.Book[${x}].Category.NotEqual[Pet]} && (${Me.Book[${x}].Category.NotEqual[Transport]} && (${Me.Book[${x}].TargetType.NotEqual[Lifetap]}&&${Me.Book[${x}].TargetType.NotEqual[Animal]})))

thanks.. added and uploading.

Need some advice please. I was trying to use this macro in my Guild Hall but I guess it is a safe zone so I could not cast a level DoT to skill up one of the disciplines. Any thoughts about where to go that is not a safe spot and people may not see me?

Thanks.

You could literally choose 97.85% of the zones on any server and they will be empty. Any newbie zone, go out of the way a little and no one will bother you. Or old PoHate is fun too.

That's what I ended up doing. I went to an Old School newbie zone that most likely has not been used in over 15 years since Crescent Reach is the new newbie zone.

would be extremely nice if you could add code to stop skillups at max -10 so that it doesn't take hours of casting to max it before changing to a different skill.

Trying to use /mac allspellskill on my Paladin. He mems Ward Undead. I play on an EMU that is classic so I don't have access to Cease. My lowest Evocation spell is Stun since I cant target and undead NPC. I changed Cease to Stun but it keeps meming Ward Undead.

it chooses the spells from your book, not what you mem.. Can you cast ward on your pet?

er I read Pally, but SK popped in my head for some reason.... I dont atm have a good option for EMU, as i can not log into or even launch them atm.. Ive tried.. So i can not test there.

Only on live. It would be great if on TLP this could still be done. I think i see something in the macro for the order to level them.. perhaps I can tweak that manually.

Turns out, this is already here... if you do /mac allspellskill {spellclass} (so, i did evocation for wizard) it will do that one first....

correct. I added that ability to the mac after the conversation about auto seting specs..

Tried the mac today on my enchanter. Most of my skills except alteration are pretty low. For some reason, it skipped abjuration and went straight to alteration. Then it picked Shallow Breath which is a damage spell so it didn't go anywhere since it won't cast in lobby. I gave it the earlyout command at my current spell level so it would move on. It ended the macro saying my spells were all at 330 (the early out) and they clearly were not. Not sure why it skipped everything other than alteration. I didn't add anything to specify spell class.
Edit: it's also using mez to practice conjuration... despite the many other options for that available.
