You talking about the one I wrote?

It is similar to that one, but on the right side of the window is a list of the chars that are logged in. I can't find the app anywhere.

There were two early versions with the 2.0 by ieatacid. Then I wrote this one. It went through several revisions. Early revisions had characters on the right side.

I don't know of any others...

as the title state:
EQBC connects on the server console (3box same pc) and connects in game, BUT... when i try to use /bcg or any /bc command to connected boxes, they do nothing. even the simpliest of things like sit or follow.. nothing. anyone have any idea? there is no error, there is no red text. just does nothing.

try /bcaa //echo hello, or something similar. To send commands to the connected toons, do something like /bcg //target MyToon /bcg //afollow on. You have to use the double forward slashes to replace the single slashes. That being said, a lot of people have moved to using dannet, as it is a peerless server.

Here is the link to the commands: https://www.redguides.com/community/resources/mq2eqbc.120/
aye ive tried all that. lol it just does nothing, even on the main toon it says it sends the commands to the connected toons, still nothing lol.

i was actually looking at dannet right as you commented. i might just switch..
thank you nightmare

welp Dannet was setup and working in like 30seconds per toon. now we cooking with propane! THANKS

Mine is saying "Waiting for connections on port: (numbers). Am I doing something wrong? I couldn't find that in the video

which command? /bcaa connect?

And I thought it wasn't working because the 2nd window never popped up to ask if I wanted to do standalone

I just bought a new laptop and when i try to load BCCMD it says it is trying to connect, but then I get the message "Could not connect". Is there a setting somewhere I need to edit for my new laptop?

I'd ensure you're trying to connecting to where you want (check instructions).

and then i'd ensure that you are allowing eqbc on windows

if you don't have a specific reason for using eqbc, i'd recommend just using dannet

im getting a 'no connection details specified, using server, port, and password from ini file.'

ive been able to always connect to bccmd connect but it's giving me this error now since I've updated 4/23/24

Not sure where to start because I've never had an issue with EQBCS. All my toons are on the same PC. BCS is running and all toons are connected. However, commands are broken. /bct and the like do not work. Making it about impossible to control my group. I changed nothing so I'm not sure how to fix this. I've restarted my PC and router, made sure the plugin is running and toons are connected. Not much else I can do.

Any chance your VPN is on and not configured? I was using mine the other day and forgot to turn it off as I haven't configured it for MQ use. It took me a bit to figure out why my toons were not communicating.

Getting the following error message: No connection details specified, using server, port, and password from .ini file. Anyone know what is going on here.

Just recently, EQBC not loading on launch. Wondering if there is something I can check before the uninstall/install solution?

Thanks!

Make sure it is allowed via your windows permissions
I did that and this is all that the EQBCS .INI File says ....is this correct (See Below)?? I never looked at it before now, so ...I never changed anything. I was working on finishing up the final touches in the Guild Buff Assistant and when I ran a test on my Shaman, this is when everything went wrong. Not only did the EQBCS issue happen but something seriously went haywire with my graphics, mainly on my toons visual. All of my toons look like they are wearing level 10 gear ...you remember the gear that we used to die to make them look the way we wanted them? Nothing is changed in the settings, that I can tell, but when I did the /mac buffbot on my Shaman, I saw a very long string of commands scroll up the MQ2 Window and it was then that all the visual problems started.

Thanks for responding and, as always, I appreciate you more than words can say.

I just got done wiping and reinstalling Windows 11. I just reinstalled everything. It's all running ok but I can't get anything to connect. I think it's due to OneDrive. any suggestions? I would like to not use OneDrive altogether because it seems to be nothing but a pain.

OneDrive has nothing to do with EQBCS
Can you please provide more details.
Is the EQBCS server running?
Are you trying to connect multiple computers or just using one?
Are you getting any kind of error message when trying to connect?

Btw most things use Dannet now instead of EQBCS is there a particular reason you need to use EQBCS?
